STRENGTHEN YOUR CORE, PELVIC FLOOR, AND MORE WITH POSTNATAL PILATES

Join Sam for a 4-week Pilates series designed to help Postnatal people regain strength in a targeted, functional, and safe format. Using Pilates equipment like the Arcs, Circle, Chair, and Tower, and props like Bosu, Ball, Mat, and Weights, you'll go through exercises with the necessary modifications for postnatal safety and conditions. Get in tune with your breath, body awareness, mobility, flexibility, and full body strength!

This series is ideal for those that are postnatal after they have been cleared to exercise again. If you have had any Diastasis Recti, Pubic Symphysis Diastasis, C-Section, etc. please inform the instructor so she may make more of the appropriate modifications that may be needed.

A TRADITIONAL PRACTICE IN A MODERN AGE

This program invites you to delve deep into your yoga practice while paying respect to your busy modern life with alternate pricing packages. Watch as your practice grows in a safe, supported small group. 

Mysore style engages students in a self-paced, individualized practice in a group setting. This class format allows for each student to move at their own pace and to receive adjustments from the teacher. Beginners will be systematically taught the Ashtanga Yoga method according to the level of comfort and safety of each student. 
No prior yoga experience necessary - all levels are welcome!

We recommend that beginners commit to practicing with consistency, about 3 classes a week, so that the teacher can monitor progress and continue to refine and add poses. The key to enjoying the practice is to learn gradually and steadily so that we can learn to quiet the mind by connecting with the breath.

MEET JUAN
Juan holds a degree in Athletic Training from UT Austin, is certified by the Board of Certification, and licensed to practice in the state of Texas since 2016. He has been teaching yoga for 20+ years, completed massage training at the Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage, is an ACE certified personal trainer, and is certified in the Barbell Rehab Method.
Juan provides eastern and western perspectives on yoga, health, wellness, athletic performance, therapeutics, and rehabilitation.

Meet the Rō Team!

Chelsea Moore - Founder, Instructor  Chelsea has been rowing since 2005 and coaching since 2009. She has rowed on the University of Oklahoma's inaugural varsity team, was a two-time Collegiate Rowing Choaches Association (CRCA) National Scholar-Athlete, and CRCA All-Region. Her training and coaching experiences inspired her to start Rō Fitness in 2014! Cara Rizzo - Instructor Cara loves the balance of strength, cardio, and technical skill rowing requires! She played a wide variety of sports growing up across the US, notably as a state-qualified swimmer and competitive equestrian. A confident leader, she's excited to break down the complexities of rowing to newbies and vets alike and help them achieve their recreational, competitive, or fitness goals. 

Connor Dent - Instructor  Connor is trained as a licensed massage therapist, and brings his understanding of the human body and its functionality to his classes. He began his journey on the rowing machine in 2007, and was a competitive rower for McLean High School and a gold medalist at the Mid-Atlantic Erg Sprints. 

Laura Griffith - Instructor  Laura started rowing in 2001 throughout high school, and continued to row on the varsity team with Eastern Michigan University. Throughout college, she taught the men's high school rowing program for the Wyandotte Boat Club, as well as her old high school team. Her favorite thing about rowing is being a part of an amazing crew of people who come together to work hard to accomplish the same goal.
