WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR ART® TREATMENT AT CASTLE HILL FITNESS
Active Release Technique® sessions are a combination of examination and treatment. Your first visit will begin with your medical history and background, followed by questions specific to the problems you're experiencing. The practitioner will use their hands to evaluate the body's soft tissue to find the cause of the issue. This evaluation includes assessing the tightness and movement of muscle, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. Once the abnormal tissue is identified, the practitioner employs the Active Release Treatment® protocols, using precise, directed tension with very specific patient movements. These moves allow the practitioner to identify and correct the client's specific problems.
Active Release Therapy can work in as little as one session, though more may be required in certain cases.
